🌊 What Impact Does Baptism Have on Your Daily Life?

Being baptized means you don’t have to worry about your salvation 🙏✨.

You are in Christ, and with that, you receive all the gifts and blessings that come along with it. (Amen to that! 🙌)

But here’s the thing — it’s not all about you.

Since you’re secure in your salvation, you’re now free to turn your gaze outward, to your neighbors, and look for ways to serve them 🤝.

As Christians, We Get to Serve Our Neighbors:
❌Not for personal gain 💰
❌Not for recognition from our neighbors 👀
❌Not for acknowledgment from God 🙌
✅For the glory of God! 🌟

But we have a challenge — we continue to struggle with our sinful nature.⚔️

Paul reminds us to “put off the old self” and “put on the new” (Ephesians 4:22-24).🌿

This is the daily life of a baptized Christian, and the struggle is real. ⛓️

Sometimes our sinful nature gets the best of us, and instead of helping our neighbor, we might hurt them. 😔

So, what do we do then?
1️⃣ Seek Forgiveness – Go to your neighbor and ask for forgiveness 🤲.
2️⃣ Confess to God – Confess your sins and receive forgiveness from Him 🕊️.

⛪What Happens in Church — worship, the preaching of the Word 📖, and the Lord’s Supper 🍞🍷 — equips us to serve our neighbors even better.

God works through us to bring His message of salvation to those we encounter because Christ died for them, and He loves them deeply ❤️.

As His children, we love them, too.💗
