💣 Here’s a truth bomb: Most politics today is just catastrophizing about something you can’t fix.

✝️ Our Lord gives us Psalm 2 to bring clarity.

📖 Here’s what we learn from Psalm 2…

There are people who set themselves against the Lord and His anointed — and it’s not just the party you didn’t vote for. It includes anyone who thinks politics will be their salvation.

😆 That’s hilarious to Him!

The politics we worry will bring the end of the world can’t actually bring the end of the world — because it’s not Judgment Day yet. 🕊️

🗳️ That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t vote. (In fact, it’s a sin not to vote!) Voting on behalf of our neighbors is part of our calling as citizens.

But let’s put it into perspective…👀

🫅 We shouldn’t view our politicians as saviors.

✝️ Psalm 2 points us to Jesus — who has it all under control.

❤️ He died on the cross for us, for our president, and for the guy you didn’t vote for.

Whenever politics start bugging you just a little too much, pray the second Psalm. 🙏

Then, go ahead — laugh at it. 😄
