All Things New: Pray With Resurrection Confidence

In Ephesians 3:12, Paul tells us that through Christ, we have boldness and confident access to God through faith.

Yet how often do we pray without this boldness?

How frequently do we hedge our prayers with “if it’s your will,” not from humble submission as Jesus did in Gethsemane, but from fear of disappointment?

This tentative approach lacks the boldness promised to us.

We have been granted confident access to the Father through the curtain of Christ’s flesh into God’s holy presence. But how can we pray with such assurance?

The resurrection provides our answer.

This magnificent promise guarantees that everything broken by sin and death will ultimately be restored.

When we pray for healing, we need not qualify with “if it’s your will.”

While immediate healing may or may not come now, complete healing absolutely awaits in the resurrection.

That is precisely why Jesus came in flesh and conquered death.

When we pray for daily bread, we acknowledge the current lack in our world.

Yet we pray confidently because resurrection life promises abundance without deficit.

Jesus demonstrated this truth by turning water into overflowing wine and multiplying food for thousands with baskets full of bread leftover.

Our prayers find their boldest expression when anchored in resurrection certainty.

What seems unfulfilled today will find complete fulfillment in God’s ultimate restoration.

So pray boldly. Approach the throne with confidence.

The curtain has been torn, access has been granted, and the resurrection guarantees the ultimate fulfillment of God’s promises.

This confidence is yours through faith in Christ Jesus.
